If you enjoy singing then please come and join us.
You may not know if you should sing as a soprano alto, tenor or bass, but don’t let that put you off! Likewise don’t worry if you can’t read music: you can learn the pieces by ear, and you may well find after a few months that your skill in this area will have grown considerably.
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 in the Parish Room of St Mary’s Church, Old Basing, Hampshire. Although we are fortunate to enjoy a very good relationship with St Mary’s, we are not a Church organisation. We welcome equally members who live outside Old Basing.
Members are asked to pay a subscription to cover essential expenses. The current rate is £120 per calendar year (if you join part-way through a year the amount will be reduced pro rata). A reduced rate is available for those under 18 or in full time education, and payment by instalments is possible by arrangement with the Treasurer. You can come and try us out for free – we’ll only ask for a subscription once you’ve decided to stay.
